something about 3ft long 2ft wide and 2ft or more high, with a bottom deep enough to accomodate digging, at least 10" or more of soil sand mixture, i use that and cypress effectively. I like to start out small and increase cage size with their growth, it makes it easiear to clean, and easier for them to catch crickets/insects whatever you feed them. Be prepared as it will grow out of this enclosure in a matter of a few months if properly cared for.
