Franklin Mts???
HKM....Not really sure.I bought this guy in Daytona and haven"t been able to place a locality on him...or at least venture a guess as to where it may "possibly" be from. Without having any documentation to actual locality it's merely speculation. I was thinking western Texas.
Well, it is a beautiful beast. That much we are sure of!!! Thanks for posting the picture.
It appears typical of very FAR West Texas klauberi types. Particularly the Franklin Mts right in El Paso County. It could also be from mountains in Dona Ana or Otero Counties (New Mexico) or from north central Chihuahua (Sierra Juarez??). Those locals would be typical for that color pattern. Then, add the incredible possibility of lepidus polymorphism and the potential expands. Animas and Chiricahuhua mountain specimens have "similar" color patterns on occasion, but the ground colors are for the most part different.
My bet goes to the Franklin Mountains.
Anyone else?

Here's a close up of the same male klauberi.
