New Hatchling!

My whit lined gecko hatched yesterday, gestation period of 123 days, all we did was block it off from the parents and he hatched!

Any tips?

Congrats! I just had a pair hatch a week and half ago. Unfortunately, one didn't make it. The other is going strong though.

I would recommend a few mistings a day and lots of hide spots. I have both a piece of cork on the bottom for it to go into and some leaves hanging from the sides for it to hide in.

I have been feeding mide dusted flightless fruit flies. I have tried feeding it my tiniest crickets but it doesn't seem to even try to get those. They may be too quick...I think the fruit flies are easier to catch.

Congrats, and if you can post a pic. The pics of my two are farther down. The one with teh shed stuck on it is the one that didn't survive.
