Balls and Other Animals?

rob1217r Nov 19, 2004 09:54 PM

I was just wondering how other peoples animals interact or if they interact with your snakes. My wife just got two kittens and she loves the things to death. She's not fond of my snake and is afraid that the kittens and snake will fight/kill each other.
I myself am not sure if it's a good idea to put them together. Does anyone else have animals they let come in contact with thier snakes?

Thanks for the help

We don't have any cats but we do have a dog. Our dog shows no interest in our snakes what so ever. This has always struck me as odd because our dog, some sort of pit bull mix thing, is often aggressive to other animals. She even catches and kills wild mice but could care less about our snakes.

However, all animals can be unpredictable so IMHO it's best not to ever put them together without very close supervision.

They make that horrible warbling sound and are completely finiky about there sweet diets and fresh fruits everyday and get wierd on you if you ignore them for a day or two. (Wow, what a nice run on.)

I prefer Flying Squirrels, ours were complete dolls. I'll have to dig around and find the photos of those sometime.
