JRAM, I would have to say No that the snake pictured is NO Yellow Belly. First off the belly is not that speckled on most Yellow bellies I have seen, The belly is more mixed up near the patterned sides, Plus the sides where the black is has a lot of blushing. I will send a picture of a female that I think is a Yellow belly, but i am still not 100% sure that this one is a yellow belly. I am gonna breed it with a male that is not proven but has all of the looks. Here is the female.

Yes but, Dangerously, YBs are special they look mostly normal unless you know what your looking for.
I'm afraid both animals, to my eyes at least, look like normal specimens.

I will have to agree. YB's are one of the toughest to identify. Posting that link is just a reflex reaction to the "is my ball a " messages.
