Got me another card reader. This is one of my midlands and yellow bellys that I have. Eating unscented pinks with vigor. I mean they just go crazy.

Cool pic. It sure makes things easier when they feed on rodents. Did you have to start them on scented? Also, do you still have that completely banded Midland Watersnake? I'd be interested in seeing more pictures of it.

naw, man... It would not eat and I kept it up for as long as I could. I had lost so much weight that I had to force feed it and it died a few days after that. Sure wish it would have eaten like all my other waters did. The only midland i have now is that one I took pics of. you can look in the photgallery. I do not think I have deleted it.

Wow, and I was expecting a tadpole!
It sure is satisfying when they eat, isn't it? And you know they're getting something solid when they accept mice. Now you can watch them grow!

I have almost all of my waters readily taking mice, well pinkies anyways. They do not like fur. So what I did about that with my big female banded is I am feeding her a baby rabbit (scented) every few feedings of fish. I have had those 2 in the pic to take pinkies for about 4 months bnow. They are going for them like they are scented with fish but they're not. I am going to post some pics of a few other waters here in just a lil' bit. oh and peirson , here is a pic of that midland with full bands.
