Hi
Any of you guys/gals ever used calcium tablets that we eat, for your leopard geckos?
I am thinking of crushing a tablet and try that out. But to be on the safe side, I figure it would be better to ask first.
Thanks
Nicholas

I've heard of using tums crushed up for Iguana's but never for anything smaller... I don't know... its an idea I guess but I'm not an expert... Someone else may know better
calcium carbonate, calcium nitrate, yadda yadda yadda
if you can find the same kind of calcium as the reptile supplement you could probably do it no problem.
I'm not sure off hand what sort of calcium is in what, but i'm sure someone here knows.

I am thinking of using those calcium sold as supplements in health/drug store.
Watch your doseages, is all--remember that whole tablet is meant to supplement a great big human. <G> Check the total doseage of the tablet, and the percentage of calcium per tablet, and compare it with the powdered reptile supplement.
Thanks
Will definitely be very careful if I do that. Just a thought that came to my mind.
