and I just wanted to say thanks for the answers I got! I can now say that my I have two tiny crested babies . They hatched at some point during the day yesterday. So tiny and so beautiful . Now for the next question..how soon after hatch do they eat? I have baby food, CGDD anw will get tiny crickets today (the ones I have now are way too big for these critters.)

i've heard feeding normally begins after their first shed. as far as i know, the first shed normally will come sometime within the first night or two.

As a general rule you miss the first shed .Typically 1-2 days before they eat.and chances are it will be so little you wont think they did. The first month or so keep them in a small container so they will be sure to find the food and water.
