very odd Okeetee

caecilianman02 Nov 20, 2004 11:15 AM

Hi there:

About a year and a few months ago, I purchased an Okeetee corn from a pet store a few towns away. Its coloration was normal, but its structure was not. It was REALLY skinny, with a longer head than a corn should have, and huge round eyes. Its size was also odd; it was about 13 inches long, and it was labeled as a "baby".
It was in with other corns; snows, ghosts, caramels and albinos. All of them had the exact same really odd body structure and size. I bought the corn snake, and fed him. He ate right away. I fed him a lot, because I thought he might be starving. He ate a huge amount for a snake; sometimes about 5 fuzzies per sitting.
Now it is a year and many months later. The snake has not grown at all. He is still extremely skinny with that long head and those really wierd eyes. He drinks fine, looks beautiful, and acts perfectly normal. Its just that he looks as if he has been pulled and stretched out like putty.
Is this odd?
