RETF Eggs

sdnavy Nov 20, 2004 11:53 AM

Hello all,
The pictured RETF egggs are over 24 hours old. Some are blue and others look like the Ying Yang symbol with pearl white and off white colors. Is this normal?

The eggs seem to be drying up especially at the top with the dark green centers, and as well as the bottom. Need to keep the eggs moist, cannot let them dry out, which is what it looks like is happening in this picture.

Also it appears that the clump towards the bottom is turning a little milky in color... which again, is not a good sign. This usually happens when the clutch has gone bad. Sorry. But congratulations on producing the clutch...
