Dragon acting backwards....

caredeocr Nov 20, 2004 02:39 PM

My beardie used to act so normal...eat a lot twice a day and bask in between and afterwards. Now he basks all day, ignores his crix and greens, then will eat around 4PM, and then crawls into his cave for the night. He isnt able to digest his food unless he basks, so I usually take him out of his cave and put him under the basking light.

He has good UVB, his basking temp is 102 degrees, and he is 6 months old.

Any thoughts?

Thanks
Chris

I have just got my beardie and he is doing the same thing. when i first got him he was eating fine but now he seems to just sit and bask. well that was what i thaught until i hid and watched him and he ate 4 crickets he was just ignoring them while i was there. i have only had him a day or two so mine is probably the change.
