that sucks. First things first. Sterilize all the cages. Put all your snakles on paper towels or some other substrate that is easy to change. You want to be changing the substrate every day and cleaning, througholy cleaning, the enclosure every day.

I have had good luck using Reptile Relief in the past, and i have heard good things about Provent-a-mite as well. Follow the instructions on the bottle.

The biggest thing, in my experience is keeping things absolutely sterile while you are trying to get rid of the mites. its a pain in the butt, but it works.

I use that shampoo that rids lice on kids. Just dilute it in a spray bottle and spray everything down including the snake. Works everytime for me...and it gets rid of the mite eggs to.

At what ratio do you mix?

Thanks in advanced;

Provent a mite will work great to keep the mites from returning. Spraying near the collection will eliminate mites before they invaid. Once you get rid of them, use that to keep it from happening again. I noticed 2 mites a week ago, I havent seen any since but Im going to get some provent a mite at the next expo to keep them out.
