I posted a post on my white throat regurging a while back (guessing some weeks ago) and noticed that some other folks had posted on regurgitating, as I read the new posts daily.Anyways on with my question. To make a long story short I posted about a monitor I recieved on a trade for another monitor which came to me a little thin. I tried to feed it up and kept temps up and kept on regurging. So, after getting the comments from the viewers I brought it in to the OSU Vet School Hospital. The reptile lady explained that from what she could see/feel she couldn't come to a conclusion. She said to find out more she needs to run blood tests to see if its kidneys, etc are in working order, she wants x-rays for signs of obstruction, and she wants to run fecal tests. Well, it'll cost appx $300 to do so. I was planning on sending it back to the guy and have him send me one that is in better condition. But I fed it and raised the temps for the past few days and it past waste. Not in the water but its something. I grabbeed it up and put it in refrigeration for the vet to run a fecal tomorrow. What's weird is it has not past and thing for a while which we thought it was impacted. But since it past some ureates a few days ago and thats it and then today leads me to believe that that is not the problem. Here is the thing. I have never seen feces like it. It has the urea but it is low in comparison to everything else and is gritty. The everything else is the typical hair and brown with "shape" to it. The first thing it reminded me of is like cat dung swirl(not runny though) with the white gritty urea dispersed minimally throughout. Does this look like a good sign of it recovering from what ever it was suffering from? I am going to see if there is anything in the fecal tomorrow and go from there but I am pretty sure it is not from anything that could be treated from fenbendazole as it was treated several weeks ago. After the fecal tomorrow does it look like things are going to get better or should I still push the trade for one in better condition? Sorry to make the so fricken long.
Thanks
