Bearded dragon trouble

willis1234 Nov 20, 2004 06:19 PM

My bearded dragon that I just got is full grown and is extremly over weight. It also walks like it is drunk or something and I was wondering if it is because he is so fat or that he has some kind of disorder? Thanks for any help.

I don't know but if you just got him you should have him checked out by a vet anyway and get a fecal done.

Sometimes coccidia can cause them to act disoriented and dizzy if the levels are extreme. If he was shipped to you the stress could have cuased a spike in the levels of coccidia and be causing it. You should get a fecal done.....

Keep us posted!

he wasn't shipped. I got him from the pet store i work at. Some one brought him in because he was getting to big for them. Is there anything else that would cause him to do this.
