OK, I'm confused. I have a female that has silverish cat like eyes, a male with the same kind of eyes, and another male with solid black eyes.
With the 1.1 pair, you can see the iris and the eyes are similiar to my carpets and childrens pythons. With the 1.0, the eyes are more like my BP's eyes.

I've seen them with silver, cat like, and black eyes before. I don't know what causes the different colors, but I know what you are talking about. I wish I had a better explaination. Maybe PBM could shed some light on this.

That's the eyes I am talking about. 2 of mine have them where you can see the iris.
Here is a head shot of the dumerils I was wondering about. Please excuse the quality since my camera sucks at closeups. The eyes on this one are solid black.
