Texas Garter SNAKES

I knew a spot up in Collin County Texas where I could find beautiful TEXAs garters. It was a couple of acres out in the country with tons of sheet metal and debris near a few farm ponds. The place was buldozed recently and I haven't ever found another one. Does anyone know any other areas in North TExas where these great snakes can be found? Thanks
