I have been looking on line and am having trouble finding any laws regarding the possession on reptiles in my state or county. I am able to find the venomous laws but I need to know if there are any restrictions in my area for constrictors. I live in Volusia county FL. If anyone can’t point me in the right direction I would appreciate it very much.

To my knowledge there are no restrictions in Volusia County. I moved to Orange City nearly two years ago and researched the laws there extensively before making the move. There are no county laws regarding large constrictors, though you may want to check if there are any city laws. I do know that Daytona Beach has a problem with herp owners carrying their pets out in the open in public. Sorry, but Snakey is not allowed to get a tan on Daytona Beach.
