Albino tiger question

koanut Nov 21, 2004 12:22 AM

I have been thinking about starting a albino tiger/supertiger project but I am not sure about the geneic results of various crosses. Can anyone help? What whould be the theoretical offspring of the following crosses:

TIGER HET ALBINO X TIGER HET ALBINO =

SUPERTIGER HET ALBINO X SUPERTIGER HET ALBINO =

ALBINO TIGER X TIGER HET ALBINO =

ALBINO TIGER X ALBINO TIGER =

Thanks to anyone who can help!

TIGER HET ALBINO X TIGER HET ALBINO =

3/16th normals & normal hets (66% chance hets)
1/16th normal albinos
3/4th tigers & tiger hets (66% chance hets)
1/8th tiger albinos
3/16th supers & super hets (66% chance hets)
1/16th super albinos

SUPERTIGER HET ALBINO X SUPERTIGER HET ALBINO =

1/4th super albinos
3/4th supers & super hets (66% chance hets)

ALBINO TIGER X TIGER HET ALBINO =

1/8th super albinos
1/8th super hets
1/4th tiger albinos
1/4th tiger hets
1/8th normal albinos
1/8th normal hets

ALBINO TIGER X ALBINO TIGER =

1/4th super albinos
1/2th tiger albinos
1/4th normal albinos

Feel free to check the math but this should be the "average result."

Thank you reticfan! That must have taken awhile, I have never been that good at math. I will print this out for sure!
