flamed question

hi everyone,
no one responded below, so i'll try asking again... what does it mean when you guys say that someone is "flamed"?
i know it sounds bad, but actually what does it mean?

TO FLAME SOMEONE IS WHEN YOU SEND SOMEONE AN EMAIL THAT IS NASTY, OR STRONGLY WORDED. USUALLY IT'S ALSO WRITTEN IN ALL CAPS, LIKE THIS ONE. .....but don't worry, I'm not flaming you.....

That is correct. It's when you get a scorching or scathing email response, usually in caps, as he said. Lots of times, they contain strong expletives also. Most moderators of forums such as these usually will remove those "flamed" responses from the forums as soon as they are discovered.
