Can anyone tell me at what period Green toads are most active. One source I found said nocturnal, no other sources mentioned this.

You can safely say that 99% of all toads are most active during the night. The only ones that I know that are active during the day are firebelly toads. I could be wrong though but that is all I can remember off the top of my head.

What is Victory worth without sacrifice
In nature they are nocturnal. This is to avoid predators and drying out. In a captive environment they become tame and are active whenever they think they have a good chance of getting a meal! This will depend on your schedule, but my toads/salamanders wake up in the evenings, pacing up and down with loud cries of "C'mon, where's the food then?".
