Although some have been known to use it,I wouldnt.
Far safer products/methods IMO
Try useing the "search" option here on KS,it actually works.

Go to Walmart and pick up a bottle of NIX. It's actually for human lice but works great with mites! It costs about $11. Mix this with 1 gallon of water. Pour into a spray bottle and spray Everything (The Animal The Cage *EVERYTHING*). You may want to put her in some nice fresh water to soak a bit first. This way if she is thirsty she can drink the water rather then the NIX. This will also kill off some of the mites! I got this recipe from Ben Siegal himself. I've used it once (the only time I've actually had mites) and will always use it if the time comes up again (which I hope it doesn't!). Good luck! *Mites are easy to get rid of*
