janome Nov 21, 2004 08:47 PM

i have a 4 month old sonoran albino gopher that went through the cloudy stage and now is real clear but no shed. seems like he should of shed by now. do they forget to shed? i had him out and misted him a couple of times, like i do with my other 4 snakes, and still no shed yet.

thanks

Sometimes they forget to shed. But snakes do not shed on a timetable accurate to the minute. How long has it been since it cleared up?

My bet is that it's a little slow this time of year and will shed Real Soon Now. Herpers need glacial patience!

Good luck.
