Not eating..

astrocop Nov 21, 2004 10:29 PM

Greetings. I am a newbie and have a male GB that has not eaten in three weeks. He looks good and seems to be active (at night) but has refused to eat the last three times. He fed twice on f/t pinkie, shed, fed again and has refused everything since. I have two corns that eat everything in site and am not used to picky eaters. I read about babies being problem feeders buy thought once they were on mice they were good to go. Should I try lizard scent?

Any suggestions would be appreciated!

Cool snake. Sometimes alterna think they should hibernate even if we don't. You might try scented but if it dose not work you might think about brumation.
Good Luck

Rick,
Thanks for the reply. I thought about that also. The temp is steady in the 80s and I have the light on a timer. I am a little worried about brumating him since he is so small. I guess if he does not try scented it's worth a shot. He is a cool snake. Very laid back and docile.

Thanks for the suggestion.

Doug
