I want to get a Veild, but I can not stand the sound of crickets and I do not want to keep it in another room that I never go in. Any suggestions?

baby crix don't make noises and you can try silkworms as a staple diet if your veiled accepts it. mine gets tire of them after about a week

honestly if you keep them in a cool place they wont chirp you can also get a dozen or so large and jus feed the males off first so they are gone the first day and wont make noise.

try a rubber maid container....usually if you put a smaller one with crixs in it...inside a bigger one and put the lids on both you wont hear them but its a pain in the butt to open.
