Breeding Newbie Questions

OK here's the deal... I have 2 Argentine Boas and I would like to breed them. They are both about 4 years old now and the female is 7' 2" long while the male is only about 6' long. My Female isn't very thick and she hasn't been although I feed her one large Rat every week.

Is She ready for breeding? I know the male is a proven breeder but I was wondering if she's ready. I know I need to cool her before I start the breeding and I'm also wondering what I need to look for to figure out if she's ovulating or not? I know that she's supposed to shed right before she'll become gravid.

Any and all info would be great!!!
