Just recently got a henk. Is ventilation important for them or not? I've seen mixed responses about this. I have him in a enclosure where only the top is ventilated, pretty much for the sole reason of keeping the humidity up. Opinions please!
Thanks

Frisk

Don't worry about him not getting enough air, he'll get plenty if there is a slit or two somewhere. Just worry about the air not circulating and the water from spraying causing bacteria to grow. I would find a happy medium myself if I were you. I like ventilation but I'm from a dry area so I can't have too much myself. Honestly, nobody will ever be able to make a equation for ventilation, you just have to test things out.

well, i've got an idea in my head to design a top for tanks that has a clear top, a light, and 2 fans on it so one can pump air in while the other pumps air out. i have yet to build it, but i hope to get it done sometime within the next few months. i mainly getting it for my satanics though. if it works for them, i might make another.
