My little newborn Great Basin finally ate!
I had posted before about it being all dehydrated and haing problems shedding. It also wouldnt eat. I wouldnt want to eat eitehr feeling like that!
But the Vegi oil saok got most teh bad shed off, then he shed again about a week later..a GOOD full shed. And he looked absolutely perfect after that...except very skinny since he hadnt eaten still. I tried giving him frozen/thawed pinkie mice, but he didnt touch them. So I went out and got a prego mouse and waited for her to birth. Gave the snake a live pinkie, and it only took a second for him to bite it, then down it.
Then I gave him another the next day to make up for the lack of food. And of course, he greedilly ate that one too. 
Just thought i would share. He is doing great!!!! YIPPI!
