Rep-cal vs...

shion Nov 22, 2004 01:04 AM

Ok, So I went to the Atlanta show and spoke with a few of the people there selling Chameleons. I asked about dusting the food for them, one said use rep-cal for Calcium, another said dont use that as it will create too many problems with their bones and cause early death, but to use " Miner-all" that would provide a balance of everything they would need.
However even a third said not to dust at all, but to just use a good gutload and there is no need for anything else.

Anyone else have any imput of who is right or even if any of them are correct?
I am always questioning what a "salesman " tells me because they all just wanna make a sale.

i personally use miner-all for my chams, but i also occasionally will dust with rep-cal for my leos or dragons..... i think it's really up to you, im not too inclined to believe all those negative effects of rep-cal unless it's used in ridiculous amounts, i only dust every other feeding for my chams as they should be getting plenty of D3 from their powersuns
