Hi i've just got a baby blackthroat 1 week ago, he's about 11inches. He's in a 20 gallong tank with reptimoss as bedding, his basking spot is 120 degree. He has a dog bowl in his cage for drinking, i feed him him 3 pinkies every 2-3 days(depend on if he's hungry or not). I wonder if i have everything set up correctly and am I feeding him/her correctly, how long would it take for him to get around 4-5 foot long?

reptimoss sucks, get cypress mulch or dirt from your backyard. I fed my babies every day to every other day trust me they will eat, they can usaully attain 4-5 in a year if properly kept. Your basking site sounds good, what is your ambient/air temp? it should be around 80 or so, give or take preferably give. The tank is small, it will grow out of it very soon, once again, if properly kept, feed it, and keep it hot, it will grow, always remember the bigger the better too as far as caging is concerned.
