This is the little emerald swift born with his back legs not funtioning. Also has tremors.

I gave his mom dusted bugs and uvb lighting BUT is is so IMPORTANT to give EXTRA calcium suppliments to gravid or pregnant moms. In this case she had 10 kids LIVE BIRTH. I have learned she needs alot of calcium.

Anyway Santy claws has been put in sunlight and much UVB and is going to get oral calcium also. He is begining to do well as you will see in next pic.

Here he is after sunlight and UVB hes starting to climb and back legs are bending, temors are less.

The oral calcium die to arrive shortly should really help this cutey!

Eve, it's nice to see the little guy progressing. It amazing how the lizards can be turned around if MBD is caught early. Natural sunlight and calcium does wonders.

poor little guy,you said he was born with MBD? that is pretty weird. i guess i never really thought about it before. you had better give him extra kisses.

The last 4 weeks the Mom did not even eat I think she just had no room, the babies were taking so much room Anyway, I know to really give her EXTRA calcuim next time.

So hopefully this will not happen again.
