Best type of cage for parasites?

geicogecko Nov 22, 2004 02:51 PM

I am taking care of someone's leo and they broght it to me in a small plastic container so I am left with trying to find something else to put it in. My question is which would be better..plastic or glass? This is leo has parasites and I will have to clean whatever it is in everyday. I just don't want to get a material that parasites stay in better than the other. The gecko is also being taken to the vet and that is paid for by the owner.

dont think it really matters as far as disinfecting the cage is concerned. Just clean it well with soap and hot water. But I would go with some sort of large pastic container, just cause its gonna be easier like that if u gotta clean it each day.

It doesn't really matter. You can probably be more thorough with a plastic container since it's easier to lift and carry to the sink.
