Camera question......any comments appreciated.

I've been looking to get a new digital camera (better than the one I have now). I've done some research, and within the price range that I'd like to spend I've narrowed it down to the Canon Powershot A95 or one of the Nikon Coolpix. Many of you have some camera experience from what I've read on some of these posts. Thanks

I'd personally go with the Nikon Coolpix series. i like nikon's interface better than canon, and have had good experiences with their quality. i've used the Coolpix 4300, and tested a few lower models (including the $199 one, which i'm considering adding to my collection), and currently use the Nikon D70. they make a great digital camera, and i highly recommend them. canon's are all right, but i think you get more for your money with the nikon. just my opinion. good luck!

every camera will have it's ups and downs. Go over to DPreview.com and read some reviews , or better yet go over to best buy and play with them... it's really personal preference.
