Hi,
first I'm from Germany so please excuse my bad english!

I have 2 DI, but I don't know what sex they are. Bot DI have the same size of pores and heads. But i can't say wheter it is a male or female. Does anyone of you have pics of femoral pores of DI, so i can match pics with my animals pores. Or can anyone of you describe how big the pores are? Are the male pores similar to Crotaphytus male pores? Hoping for help.

Follow the link. Look at the picture and that is a male. If your lizards have smaller pores, they are females. If they look like the pic, they are males. During mating season, the male exudes a pheromonal excretion through pores and animals kept in cages where they cannot rub off the exudation often have long strings of "stuff" coming out of the pores.
Ihre Englisch ist ganz gut. Ich habe alles versteht.
