I GOT MY JACKSON!!

tassadar898 Nov 22, 2004 06:37 PM

I just got my Jackson Chameleon, how should I set the cage. It's by a window and I cant let it open for UV light so I'm just using a regular lamp for a basking area. I took down a few branches and placed them and hes eating. I can't create a drip system with a bottle and a pin, too much water is comming out.

I always prefer to use a styrofoam cup to create a dripper, becaase you can have better control with how hard to poke the cup to create the right sized hole. With other cups like plastic, you have to poke hard to make the hole, and you usually end up having too big a hole. try get one of those styrofoan coffee cups, and gently poke a hole with a pin. Just push deep enough so that the tip of the pin very slightly penetrates the inside of the cup, but not passing the whole pin through the cup. Hope that is not too confusing.
