on the 1st pic under where it says water snake forum. I cannot remmeber. Was yours michael? Oh, and what all waters does everyone on here have. I have:

0.1 banded
0.0.1 midland
0.0.2 florida waters
0.0.2 yellow bellies
I had like 10 midlands earlier this year but I gave/sold a few and let the nonfeeders go (which was like 2). I am going to stick with waters and quit on the kings, milks, rat snakes, and the like. Just retics and waters is my focus right now. If anyone wants to give me an albino water I would readily accept it. Oh, michael I know how much you like the big tad so here you go.

6-5, good grief, I'm not even 5-6! It's scary to consider that 8 of your fingers weigh more than I do ...
Yes, that's my erythrogaster. An advantage (though many of being short) is that all my nerodia equate to being retics to me. And I don't have to feed them small horses or mule deer.
But most of all, I can walk around in their terrariums!

Well, I don't think 8 fingers would out weigh you. lol. Maybe one of my legs though. Naw, maybe a foot!! Yea 1 of my feet. I wear size 15. hahahaha. Is that the snake in the pic? It looks realy great. I am wanting to get a pair of those sometime in the future. How big of an inclosure do you have it in? An what all do you have?

Yup, the same Red Belly, I have only the one. Her enclosure is about 18" wide, 30" high and 5ft long.
The snake itself is just over 5ft long as well, quite robust and a terrific feeder! With a little prodding she allows me to pick her up but I can sense her tension so have not lifted her above the terrarium walls (she's not called Spaz for nothing!).
The same again below, head on shot.

Mangroves, Gulfs, Greens, Florida Bandeds, Yellow Belly and Northern are her "Florida Room" chums. I've just about completed a design for a new enclosure set-up which will replace all the tanks. Once this is done and space permitting, I hope to aquire Browns again and some nice Diamondbacks. But this wll be some time in the future, I expect.

That pic pretty much sums up what makes Nerodia so appealing. Where did that erythrogaster come from? Its huge!

I aquired her from Glades Herp a few years ago. They had only the female at the time or I would have purchased a male as well. And you're right, she's a biggy. Two nine inch trout are her usual meal. These are relatively small to her whereas 12" fish (farm raised) are a little more bulky than I like to offer. However, she did gobble down an adult, scented rat once, with ease.
