I am in process of "doing my homework" so to speak before getting my first corn snake. I would like to know if any you guys out there know of f/t rodent providers local to the Dallas-Fort Worth area. I would like to find a nearby source where I can just pick them up...not only to save on hefty shipping costs but also to support local herpers and rodent producers. Thanks!

I also live in the DFW area and haven't been able to find anyone who produces them for a "good price". What I do is order them from Big Cheese Rodents (they are listed on the main page of Kingsnake.com). They are just a few hours south, southwest of DFW. You can go and pick them up if you call ahead. I just have mine shipped via ground, it's very inexpensive (a whole lot cheaper then ordering them from out of state).
