So, having recently become interested in Retics, what can you tell me about Yellowheads? Are they locale specific, just a "normal" with a yellow head? Any tmeperment trends? Size?
Thanks for your help!

I really wouldn't call it genetic but if you breed 2 yellows together your chances are better but you can get yellow heads from breeding them to silvers and normals. You can even get them by breeding normals to normals. But to answer his question the best ones are locale specific like selayers, sulawesi, thai, and ambons. All of these can have yellow heads but sometimes they are a dark brownish yellow. If you make sure you buy from a well known breeder like Notah Howe Bob clark and NERD you should be pretty safe in knowing they will be decent.
