question for breeders

i am just starting to get into the idea of breeding balls,mostly just for fun.hoping to trade up every year with the offspring.hopefully make enuff money to pay for itself.ive done alot of research online plan on buying books and vids.my question is do you breed males to one or to mutiple females?and do you breed your females every year or do you skip a year?i need this info to plan what i buy first any help would be appreciated

You can breed multiple females if you want. Just move the male around to each of the females cages like every week. And it all depends on how big your female is after laying her eggs and if you can put the weight back on her. If she can get back up to weight then it is no problem to breed her again the next year, just make sure she gets back up to weight!

First, buy 5 or 10 females they will likely take atleast twice as long to get up to breeding size as the males. I'd probably wait 4 or 5 months and you will be able to get them cheap, $45 - $100 for cbb. Next year, buy your favorite morph male, if your looking to trade up, pick up a pastel and if your lucky the folling year all will be up to size and you'll have plenty to use to trade up.
