Well i may as well carry on the way i started.
Some of ya may remember that approx a year ago, I was sold a male C.bicintores (luey) and was told it was actually a female collaris.
Being new to lizards i had no reason so I thought to question the pet shop so in he went with my male collaris Dave.
Well lucky enough a year on Dave and Luey get on just fine. Even now with grumpy coloured up they are absolutly no threat to each other.
Well getting to the point, Stumpy who I was sold as a female but thought she/he was male because she/he didn't show any orange colours last year is infact a female and is colouring up lovely just now...
So the news is good and Dave now has 2 fully coloured up girls to play with.
Not suprisingly he is head bobbing and dragging himself around the place all the time and i think is enjoying being a fella with 2 girls.. who wouldn't eh lads !!!

anyhow my second point is one regarding brumation again.
I'm not ready to brumate just yet as the girls are colloured and may well be carrying eggs but when i do get to that stage i have 2 options really as to what temp they are hibernated in.

The conservatory is between 32 farenheit and 50 in winter.
Is this too much of a fluctuation and if so,, is there a stat out there that will let me put a small mat in there hibernation viv to help keep the temp constant.. It seems most stats dont start untill about 60 farenheit and i would think this is too warm isn't it ??

th only other option that is constant is room temp,, which i should think is approx 70 farenheit.. surely this will be too warm to get them off to bed wont it ??

any advise on the stat would be great as i think this is the better option, but opinions would be good.

many thanks
