RELAX GIRL! your lunch is pre-killed, you don't have to squeeze it so hard.

Nice animal!

How old is it?

Also, is it getting ready to go into shed, or is it a dark morph?

I have an '04 splendida that pounds pinkies. He has a nice black head and yellow mottling that is starting to speckle on his sides, but the dorsum is a shiny ebony. He's probably 12 inches long.

BTW, he takes pinkies from my hand!

If I can get to a digital camera, I will.

Splendida are underrated kings. I find their contrast interesting, as well as the black head and nape. It makes them a wonderful colubrid alternative for a blackheaded python.

Cheers!
