I've been using Flukers "bend a vine" for a while thinking
the softer texture and ease of cleaning would prevent foot problems with one of my chameleons.. but I've recently noticed foot pad redness on the wrist areas. I think the rubber is holding in moisture causing the redness, they aren't open sores but could become a problem if I don't correct it. I'm getting rid of all of these perches and going with natural, and trying to keep the favorite perching areas as dry as possilble.
Has anyone else experienced this? The chameleons cage is
drenched with water quite often, I don't think
the material dries out very well between waterings,
just a heads up to people who are using them.
