B-12 for Savanna???

herphead714 Jul 01, 2003 10:29 AM

I was wondering if it is ok to feed them B-12, because the only bone meal i could find for the turky diet has 25 mcg per teaspoon of vitimin B-12. Is this bad for him? This is not the only thing hes eatin , just a filler between crickets and mice.

Ive actually heard of people smashing up centrim vitamins to add to their monitors turkey diets! I use human grade calcium with added D. I just dont trust the stuff for animals, after all, their supplies arent regulated by health standards. Check for an expiration date on the bottom of a can of herp vitamins/ minerals. I doubt youll find one.
