I've decided to let the Argus do what it wants. After all, its eating(2-3 mice per day),basking, digging what else could I ask for. Who am I to say when it should be active anyway! Thanks FR and others.

I may have miss read your earlier post about the size of your argus monitor. If so please forgive me.

What size mice are you feeding it? If it is 2 feet long and eating 2 to 3 mice everyday? They can't possibly be full grown mice, could they?

I'm sorry as well. It is about 2' and eating fuzzy/crawler mice.
