The show on NG called "Snake bite"? I don't think it help the hot herp community too much.Hell it didn't help the herp community at all!It made the snakes the enemy and the herp community it's keepers. One moron went on a one man crusade to shoot as many Cotton mouths as he could with his dbl barrel shotgun.I did agree with some things mentioned in the show ,but overall I give it a thumbs down.

Yeah, I saw it. And then there's the dummy from Zoological Imports that gets bit on the thumb while putting a snake back into it's container. Tries to suck out some of the venom & passes out. They should have stressed how this was the handlers fault, and in no way could the snake be blamed for the guys carelessness.
A lot of the stuff they show on TV really pisses me off. They try to make it look like all snakes are just mean evil creatures with every intention of biting every human they hunt down. Such BS!

The way I heard it, that guy at Zoolological is is as thick as a brick. FRAN knows the guy and can tell it better. I'll see if I can get him to post.

One minute NGeo will air an excellent show such as their "Snake Wranglers" series, the next they do a 180 and show something like the show you mentioned. Sometimes they're no better than Animal Planet.
