Update on Argus that was bitten from a while back

drzrider Nov 23, 2004 09:40 PM

I posted a while back about putting my 2 Argus monitors together and the larger one injuring the smaller one. The one that was injured looks no worse for wear now. It does still have a scar on its hip, but it is back to being its feisty self. He never seemed to have any limited range of motion and still climbs and jumps like nothing ever happened.

THANK YOU to every one that posted with good advise on treating the injury.

On a side note:
The same argus that bit this one was put into an enclosure with 2 other Argus. I left it there for a few days hoping to see some breeding activity. I did not see any, but all 3 Argus got along great. There were no fights or injuries.

Trying to figure these creatures out is as hard as trying to figure out women.

Thanks again everyone
