not eating

i have a baby solomon island tree boa. he ate when we first got him but now he hasnt eaten in a long time. he was on the tiniest pinkies bc his head is so little. he is getting very very skinny and i wanted to try to hand feed him. i work at an animal hospital so i do have some knowledge on hand feeding but not snakes...i have some oral syringes and i was wondering if i should mix an egg, some pedialyte and maybe some meat baby food? any help will be wonderful! please!

You might try live as opposed to FT if not already tried.

Have also heard that scenting the rodents with frog/lizard is helpful, like wrapping the pink in a lizard's shed skin.

ya i already tried live and he was eating well for about a month and then nothing for 2 months. he still wont eat the live. thanks

Let me know what happens...

A lot of eating disorders go away mysteriously.

I know what it is like to have an animal that does not take food...

Been there, done that, would rather have read about it than done it.

The species have slow metabolisms, he may just not want to eat, he might be "full."
Check the temps and humidity, give him some time, and leave him alone.
Do not worry about small pinks, it may look enormous but they can eat good size pinks.
