Rubbermaid Enclosure Question

Turtasal Jul 01, 2003 11:04 AM

I've recently purchased a 50 gallon for my Rococo Toad. She's happy, but I wasn't prepared for her urine smells rather seeping into this. Presently I have her on just a paper towel substrate (I did this because clean up is very easy) but possibly a different substrate might work out better. She's got a large soaking container at one end which she sometimes does her business in, but not always. Any ideas to having her place smelling better would be very much appreciated. Boy, just when you think you've got all bases covered. sigh...

well to get rid of the smell u could buy some Bio-Fresh Desert Spray from petsmart it costs $5.49. Or you could put rocks at the bottom covered up with a couple inches of dirt and then u could put some plants from around ur house or from a store.

Thanks for your input Max. She'll probably mow down any kind of plants that I put in there though. She's huge!
