as you start discovering shortly into getting into the care of Chondros...this is not one that you could breed easily - like a corn or rat snake. you really need to master keeping your chondros before you even attempt to breed them. And just a FYI...dont expect to get rich breeding them. Any quality breeder will tell you that you'll be doing well to break even.
as for purchasing them, i'd check with marcel... he has very high quality stock. When you buy a cheap chondro...you get a cheap one. May not eat, or have a number of other problems. I got a good deal on my male from him, 2 and a half years old...but that was strictly because this guy doesnt fit into his breeding plans. He has been very helpful on all my questions, and i've had a lot of them.
