You never mentioned what the goini was het for?

Do you have any history like the snakes origins? The breeder? Who did you get them from? Do you know if its a het lavender brooksi from Tim Ricks strain or a het from a calif king X Floroda king (there are a lot of those around)or is it het for axanthism?

Here is a bad pic of my goini X lavender brooksi. The lavender strain used was from Tim Ricks strain. Unfortunately the snake was heavily in the blue when I took the pic today. I will get a better pic to show its reds after it sheds.

They are Het. for albino.
No, I dont know the animals origin. But I bought them from Terry Walter. As far as I know they are pure goini. If they were hybrids Id guess the albino gene would come from an eastern king.

Noone has ever found a Albino Apalachicola King as far as I know. If Im not mistaken its pretty damn difficult to find even a non albino. In the past people have had these "Albino Goini" but they were usually outcrossed with a Lavender Florida King or either a Speckled or Cal King. Judging by the size of your male more than likely in this case a Floridana King. If you were told these were pure I would be making some phone calls.

You are probably right, im just saying that is the impression I got. They are most likely brooks cross; I thought that they would be eastern, but he has a number of brooks, so I'm thinking that they might be crossed.

I know Terry and his animals. They are calif king X Florida.

I have asked him several times as to the origin of his amel goini. The reason I ask is if I cross my goini X lavender brooksi into his animals I need to know where the amel gene comes from so that the offspring will be alllic..
