hi there,
my female cwd is being a real pillock. when she's out she is fine for a bit then goes dark and lies with her head down and then hides under anything she can (the bed, up my shirt, under pillows etc). we have tried to cope with this by putting her back the minute she does it to teach her she can't. we have tried keeping her warm to avoid the colour change and inactivity until she cains off somewhere but it isnt working. any ideas? she is well sociable but this is getting irritating.
help!

She is a lizard and she is small and scared. They aren't puppies, you can't control them. Take it slow, put her back when she gets scared and cold, and don't handle her too much or the stress will make her sick. Remember lizards are wild animals at heart, they have not been domesticated and have very small brains
